Hmmmmm
For those Brazilians to live outside of Brazil - it is not everyday that one can find "Cheesy bread" to purchase and it is not everyday someone feels like baking some. This goes to those who would do almost anything to have a warm fresh "Cheesy bread". Yummy!!

Pipe works - Aniversario
Happy birthday to me!!
Here is where the fun began. For my birthday Jakub bought a day pass for Pipeworks, a huge warehouse where they have rock climbing walls
The place is really large and when you go there for the first time they teach you how to tie the knot and everything. They have walls for all levels and tastes.

Aniversario - B-day
This week we celebrated by birthday. 20 some years ago my parents were running to the hospital because I really needed to get out and I did not stop kicking. It is kind of funny to think about that right now. So this year we celebrated by going to Chili's and to Grand bar in Sacramento, a really really small bar where they serve only wine.

Redding
On the way to Mount Shasta, here in California - Kuba thought it was a cloud!

Before we got to Shasta we stopped in Redding. Redding is this city kind of in the middle of nowhere (North of Sacramento). There is nothing really to do there except for this one park called Turtle Bay where there is a bridge called Sundial bridge. This bridge was designed by Santiago Calatrava (remember the city of arts in Valencia?) and so, that is why we went there... to see it.

To see how tall the bridge is, look at the size of the people

O "relogio solar" marcando meio dia. Essas pedrinhas brancas estavam marcando a hora..
The sun clock marks noon. Those white rocks show the times... The shade of the bridge tells the time every 15 minutes between 10am and 4pm.

Museum Day - o Dia do Museu
Every year, at least once a year, we have Museum day in Sacramento. On this day all museums of the area are free of charge. Since Kuba hates museums (but I like) on this day I get to take him to one... or a couple. This year we went to the Crocker Art Museum (the Bush "paiting") and to the railroad museum in Sacramento...
