Kirkwood II - Last day of the season? - Ultimo dia?

Talvez essa tenha sido a ultima vez que fomos esquiar nessa temporada. Ta comecando a fazer calor aqui na California e a neve esta derretendo rapido. La no resort de Kirkwood, tinha umas partes da montanha que estava em puro gelo (geralmente tem neve "fofinha"), outras partes tinham neve misturada com agua e em outras "Neve em concreto". Digamos que o Marcin me atropelou uma vez e na outra ele caiu bem na minha frente e foi assim que eu machuquei o meu joelho direito.
Mas o que eu mais gostei foi do Kirkwood Jammin' XV. Isso eh um festival la no resort (o decimo quinto ano) em que eles tem competicoes como de voley na neve (quem teve essa ideia??) e atravessar o laguinho com os esquis - vejam o video pra entender..
Dessa vez o Marcin e o Bruno foram com a gente e la emcontramos meu amigo Nick (do trabalho), a Tina (tambem do trabalho) e os irmaos do Nick.

Maybe this was the last time we went skiing/snowboarding this season. It's getting warm in California and the snow is melting fast. At some places in Kirkwood Mountain Resort is was either pure ICE, SLUSH or just plain SNOW CONCRETE! - and that is how I bruised my right knee... It was still worth it. And it was fun.
Bruno and Marcin went with us this time and we met my friend Nick and his brothers and Tina up there.
The best thing about the trip was the pond skimming competition. Kirkwood was having its 15th annual "Jammin" and they had tons of games, including "snow volleyball" (?!?!? go figure!) and the pond competition. By the way.. check out the video...

Anthony - essa criatura decidiu tentar pelo menos 3 vezes. 1 ele atrvessou o laguinho e nas outras duas ele se estabacou! Mas tudo bem... valeu o esforco!
Anthony - this guy tried at least 3 times to cross the pond. One time successfully.. the other two he fell really hard..

E como os esquis sairam do pe dele quando ele caiu, ele teve que pular no laguinho pra pegar... (Ta com frio so de pensar?)
And since his skis fell in the water, he had to jumo in to rescue them. (Are you cold just thinking about it?)
